Intern Therapist

In therapy, you have the opportunity to explore yourself and your inner world in a supportive space. Spending this time with a collaborative partner can help you uncover new ways of thinking and being. We often emerge from therapy feeling less stuck and more compassion for ourselves and the hard parts of our lives.

I work with children (ages 6+), teens, adults, and families who are experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, interpersonal challenges, grief and loss, trauma, and women's issues. My approach to therapy is warm, curious, and compassionate, guided by the belief that we all desire to discover ourselves, grow through transitions, and express our passions. Together, we will explore who you are, including your values and beliefs, what brings you joy, and what you struggle with. Understanding these unique aspects of yourself can help meaning unfold and lead you to a more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy is informed by existential-phenomenological psychology, which values individual experience and an openness to others, the mutuality of vulnerability and possibility, and, ultimately, allows questions about existence and purpose to emerge.  I draw from consulting and coaching frameworks encouraging discovery, development, and sustainability.   Through these lenses, therapy becomes a blend of exploration, attunement, and growth. I also recognize that we come from diverse cultures and histories that shape our experiences and perspectives. I aim to acknowledge and address the beliefs and systems that have influenced your story and mine.

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and developed a love for water, mountains, and fresh air. After graduating from the University of Puget Sound, I began a management consulting career, working with organizations and leaders to cultivate growth. While working and traveling, I met a witty Australian and decided to put down roots and start a family. As our children grew, I realized I wanted to nurture and support others and began transitioning my career. I am currently a candidate in the Master of Psychology program at Seattle University. I enjoy spending time with my husband and teenage boys, swimming, skiing, hiking, and reading.
