I believe everyone has a story, and as we share our life stories we learn to see, hear, and know ourselves more deeply. My hope is that therapy offers a safe and compassionate place for your story to be known and processed, helping you integrate your life experiences and grow toward the future.

I enjoy working with adults who are coping with anxiety and depression, experiencing grief and loss, navigating life transitions, and exploring issues around faith and spirituality. I see you as the expert on your life as we explore your goals for therapy, examine old habits and attempted solutions that aren’t working for you anymore, and help you increase self awareness and make meaning in your life. As a parent myself, I especially love working with clients who are pregnant or postpartum and are navigating the transition to parenthood. I also enjoy working with couples who are seeking to grow in their relationship together; processing your story, and growing in communication and intimacy with one another.

I also specialize in working with people coping with chronic health conditions and parents coping with a child’s diagnosis of a developmental difference. A new diagnosis can be overwhelming. Holding space to care for yourself and process your experience can help you cope and adjust as you love and care for your child.

My therapeutic approach is warm and collaborative, and is shaped by family systems, solution-focused, and narrative theories. We are all impacted by our context — shaped first by our family of origin and later by friends, relationships, chosen family and communities as well as the different aspects of our lives: biological, psychological, social, and spiritual.  We are complex beings that need to know we are safe, loved, and that our lives have meaning. Therapy can help uncover ways we have not had those needs met and find new ways to meet them.

I was born and raised in Seattle and completed my bachelor’s degree at Biola University in Southern California in 2010 before settling back home in the Pacific Northwest. I completed my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at Seattle Pacific University in 2020, where I also completed a graduate certificate in Medical Family Therapy. Outside of work I enjoy baking pastries, playing the piano, and spending time with my family.
