Join us to connect, reflect, and share experiences!

This 6-week group offers a supportive and affirming space for those looking to build fat community, explore personal fat liberation, and process the challenges of navigating the world in a larger body. Together, we’ll create a space where participants feel safe to share their thoughts, feelings, and lived experiences—all within a framework of respect, acceptance, and empowerment.

Who This Group is For

This group is designed for you if:

  • You identify as fat or live in a larger body

  • You’re seeking greater Fat Liberation and Fat Acceptance in your life

  • You’re ready to let go of Diet Culture ideals and explore new perspectives

  • You’re looking for meaningful community and connection with others who share similar experiences

  • You are 18+ and can commit to attending a 6-week, in-person group in Kirkland, WA

What This Group is Not

This group is not a space for Diet Culture or anti-fatness. Specifically:

  • There will be no discussion of dieting, intentional weight loss, or moral judgments about bodies, food, or movement

  • This is not a space for perpetuating anti-fat rhetoric or shaming—whether subtle or overt

  • Discrimination or bias against fat people and their intersecting identities will not be tolerated

Inclusion, diversity, and a deep sense of community are core to this group’s foundation. We’re here to honor each other’s experiences, uplift one another, and imagine new possibilities—together.
