As human beings, we navigate a spectrum of experiences—joy, hardship, and everything in between. At times, we may feel stuck, uncertain, or overwhelmed, questioning our identities and wondering what we truly want out of life. I believe therapy is a space where clients can reflect on how life’s challenges shape them, their relationships, and their perceptions of themselves and the world around them. My goal is to support my clients in discovering deeper self-awareness while uncovering the beliefs, values, and strengths that define who they are and guide their decisions.
I work with adolescents and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, life transitions, burnout, feelings of disconnect, trauma, and PTSD, as well as parents seeking parent coaching for teens with mental health struggles. My approach to therapy is rooted in person-centered, cognitive behavioral, and relational concepts. I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), helping clients build effective coping skills, enhance emotional regulation, improve relationships, and cultivate mindfulness.
I am passionate about helping my clients rediscover their zest for life and develop the confidence to change and grow from patterns that no longer serve them. I believe connection and authenticity are just as important in therapy as deep reflection, and I strive to create a space where both can exist. As someone who deeply values curiosity and self-discovery in my own life, I believe in the power of small, intentional changes to create lasting transformation.
I am a transplant to Seattle from sunny Southern California. Before I entered the counseling field, I studied violin performance and music at the University of Redlands. After college, I spent a few years working as a music teacher and taught violin, viola, and cello classes to second and third graders. Although I deeply enjoyed my time as a teacher, I always felt called to the counseling field. This calling led me to Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, where I pursued graduate studies in music therapy and mental health counseling. Outside of work, you’ll find me exploring the outdoors, enjoying the rain, singing and playing guitar, sipping iced vanilla lattes, and spending time with my two very spoiled cats.
