LMHCA (MaED Candidate & Reiki Level II Practitioner)

I support individuals navigating the complexities of chronic stress, anxiety, depression, challenging life transitions, and chronic illness. My approach is rooted in curiosity, gentleness, and a commitment to empowering my clients to craft a life filled with purpose and fulfillment. I understand that for true healing to begin, both the mind and body must feel safe. That's why I focus on creating a nurturing environment of trust and safety where vulnerability is welcomed.

Before transitioning to psychotherapy, I spent a decade in finance as a wealth manager. During that time, I witnessed firsthand the toll that extreme stress, disconnection, and a lack of purpose can take on one’s well-being. My own experience living with a chronic pain condition has further deepened my understanding of the intricate link between physical and mental health. These experiences have shaped my holistic approach to healing, which embraces mind, body, and spirit integration. They have also fueled my passion for the healing process and deepened my empathy for those suffering.

My work is centered on helping clients process and release distressing emotions that may be stored in the body or subconscious mind. I draw from a blend of evidence-based therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Somatic Therapy. ACT, a cognitive-behavioral approach, encourages self-acceptance and mindful engagement with life’s challenges, guiding clients to reconnect with their values and take meaningful action. Recognizing that our bodies often carry the weight of unprocessed emotions, I incorporate Somatic Therapy to facilitate the release of these suppressed feelings. Additionally, I utilize mindfulness meditation and intentional breathwork to help clients ground themselves and reduce stress and anxiety.

I believe in honoring each person's unique journey, tailoring my therapeutic approach to meet individual needs and preferences. My practice is dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore and process difficult emotions using proven therapeutic techniques.

Originally from Dallas, TX, I've lived all over the West Coast and Southwest over the past decade. I hold a graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University and an undergraduate degree in Business Communications with a minor in Sustainability from Arizona State University. I’m also attuned to reiki as a level 2 practitioner. Outside of work, I find balance through practicing various forms of yoga, making home-cooked meals, weight training, playing golf, and attending concerts. Living in the Pacific Northwest, I make it a point to connect with the natural beauty around me, especially by spending time near the water."
