MATCHING SPECIALIST

I believe we make meaning out of our unique human experience through relationships. When we find safety and connection within the therapeutic process, it can allow for powerful explorations of who we are, what we want, and how we are able to heal and grow. Each of us deserves to have a place where we can show up exactly as we are, without fear of judgment and where we are received with unconditional acceptance, kindness, and curiosity. It is my hope that by helping connect you with the right therapist, you will find this kind of supportive space.

My belief in the power of therapy stems from personal experience, and was deepened during my time at Seattle University, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and later studied Phenomenological Existential Psychology. I spent several years as an Admissions Associate at The Bush School, where I had the pleasure of working with families and students from Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade. I am also a member of the volunteer community at St. Francis House, a local non-profit organization which provides food and clothing to homeless and low-income individuals living in the greater Seattle area.

Growing up in Seattle gave me an appreciation for time spent in the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest, as well as cozy indoor activities such as reading, cooking, puzzles, and card games, which help get me through the rainy season. I feel most at home on the water, whether fishing in the San Juans, paddle boarding on Lake Washington, or spending time near the ocean on the Washington Coast. You can often find me trying out new restaurants with my husband, or on long walks with our dog Arlo. I look forward to meeting and helping you start or continue your therapeutic journey!
